| My first panoramic - nearly worked |
Today the ship is moored in Basel so that we can take advantage of a full-day excursion into the Alps, with an early start and packed lunch. There was thunder, lightning and driving rain as we coached it to Lucerne, but the weather picked up and was brilliant for the rest of the holiday. Yay! Lucerne is very pretty, in a lake/carved-wood/mountain-backdrop kind of way. Had coffee on flower festooned balcony. Bought posy of roses to pretty up my pit.
